Adrien Rabiot is reportedly keen to move to Everton this summer, with Juventus willing to sell the Frenchman who signed last summer.
The 25-year-old returned to Juventus, having been self-isolating in France. Later than his team-mates last week, aside from Gonzalo Higuain who was looking after his ill mother.
Rabiot has also reportedly been unhappy with Juve forcing him to take a four-month pay-cut – a claim he has publicly mocked, but nevertheless according to French outlet L’Equipe, Juve are determined to sell the midfielder this summer.
The Italian manager handed Rabiot his debut whilst at PSG in 2012, when he was just 17-years-old.
However, the Toffees have not previously held any interest in Juve players, and Rabiot’s £6.7m-a-season salary after tax could be a stumbling block.
Rabiot has also been linked with a swap deal for Barcelona’s Brazilian midfielder Arthur.
The Frenchman only joined the Old Lady from the French champions PSG last summer on a free transfer.
Though rumours of a move away continue to swirl, Rabiot has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Juve this season.
Yet despite his regular game-time, he is astonishingly yet to register a goal or an assist for a side top of the Serie A table before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
