Kaduna State University introduce e-lectures
The Kaduna State University says it has initiated online lectures for its students at home who are ‘sitting endlessly’ during the ‘lockdow‘ period.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Muhammad Tanko, made this known in a statement in Kaduna.
He expressed likewise that the lectures were in accordance with the order of the Federal Ministry of Education.
He said, “Schools have been closed for a while now and our students are idling away at home following the stay-at-home order.
“The e-lectures would, therefore, keep students busy with academic activities while at home, and may enable us catch up with the academic calendar,” he said
Racalled that the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu, had on April 3, coordinated all colleges, polytechnics and schools of training, to actuate virtual learning condition.
Adamu said the move was to empower students to proceed with their studies through advanced gadgets and lessen the time being lost because of the lockdown occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.
